Queen Elizabeth is one of Uganda’s most visited National parks, it is estimated to sit on an area measuring 1,978square Kilometers, it is found in western Uganda bordering with the Democratic Republic of Congo, the journey between Kampala and Queen Elizabeth is approximately 376Km.ths park is classified with various ecosystems e.g. the dazzling lakes, the Kazinga channel, humid forests, lush wetlands and the extensive savannah.

The park is a home to more than 100 species of mammal, 600 species of birds: the park has got a huge number of antelopes, hippos, elephants, crockdiles, buffaloes, warthogs etc. When you cruise on the famous Kazinga channel boat cruise, you will appreciate nature and the park at large as you will have the best view of several animals enjoying the glance at the river banks. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a unique home that has tree climbing lions found in the ishasha sector, the chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge and monkeys in the Maramagambo forest.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Kampala/Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a morning breakfast at your hotel/residence. Our guide will pick you at 7:30am with a quick briefing before you embark on your 5/6hours journey to queen Elizabeth National Park through Masaka-Mbarara highway where you will make a few stopovers at the Equator in Kayabwe and Mpambire (the drum making village).take a few photographs, use washrooms and proceeded with the journey up-to Mbarara City where we shall have our Lunch.

We shall obviously proceed to with the drive/journey to the park through a spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, tea plantations, long horned cattle, the rift valley Escapement and other various woodlands, we shall reach the park a bit late in the afternoon, check in at our Lodge but we shall be able to go for an evening game drive. Dinner Overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat safari

You will have to start your day with a delicious cup of coffee/tea prepared professionally by our experienced baristas. Our guide/your will be ready to take you on yet another exciting game driver on the different trails with in the park not forgetting out the long Kasenyi trail.

There is a great chance once go via the Kasenyi trail of seeing various animals like Uganda Kobs, warthogs elephants, lions, buffaloes, water bucks,  as well as various birds. After the drive, you will go back and have a heavy breakfast and also lunch at your lodge.

Later in the afternoon, you will take pleasure in making history to cruise on a 2 hours boat safari along Kazinga channel which connects Lake George and Lake Edward, from this boat while you will have a chance to see a good number of animals like crocodiles, Hippos, buffaloes, warthogs, kobs Hippos, elephants, among others which a collection of birds such as malachite kingfishers, pelicans, pink backed on the banks and in trees. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Departure to Kampala

With these superb memories, you will enjoy a heavy breakfast at your lodge.Check, you may choose to have a primate walk or not before you embark on yet another long journey to Kampala/Entebbe you will enjoy lunch along the way either in Mbarara or Masaka, we shall have another stopover at Mpambire drum center or Equator for refresh and in case you want to purchase a soveiniour before we proceed to Kampala/Entebbe where you will be dropped off either Hotel/Airport
