On this 3days Murchison falls safari, you will explore one of Uganda’s largest National park Murchison Falls National Park, this park is located Northwest of the Country (Uganda) and it covers an area of 3,840square Kilometres, this park was first gazette in 1926 as a game reserve, the park is classified with Savannah grasslands, the park is separated into two (the north and southern bank) with the victoria Nile flowing through it.there are over 451species of birds in this park, such as the Goliath heron, the shoebill, the dwarf Kingfisher, the great blue Turaco among others, several mammals and a big number of crockdiles.the magical thunderous fall the squeeze its way through an 8m wide gorge is the apex of this Safari. Both the game drive and the boat cruise will make your safari an unforgettable one.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Travel from Kampala/Entebbe to Murchison falls National Park

At exactly 7:00am, our guide will be available at your hotel to take you through a morning briefing after your breakfast and as soon as you’re ready then your 3day journey/safari to Murhisonfalls will begin. You will drive through, Districts: Kampala, Wakiso, Luweero, Nakasongola and Masindi.based on your travel plan and Budget, there will be an opportunity to branch at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see Uganda’s Black and White Rhinos. The next stop over will be in Masindi town where we shall have our lunch before we enter the Park. All payments and will be done at the park entry and from the gate we will drive towards the top of the falls but as you drive through a number of animals and primates like baboons, warthogs etc. will be by the road side to welcome you to the park. The top of the falls is so amazing and a unique experience you shouldn’t miss, because of magnificent falls that force their way through the rock in an 8m gorge. We will continue to drive through the Park to our Lodge, relax diner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat safari

When you wake up at 6:30am,your breakfast will ready at your lodge, the driver too will be available ready to drive you from the lodge to begin your Game drive at 7:00am,on this drive you will see all animals in the jungle.lions,leopards,girafes,elephants,water bucks,buffaloes,antelopes among others, this drive shall end at around 11:30am and the drive will drive you back to the lodge, relax/refresh-up, lunch as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise on the Nile River. Where you will see another opportunity to see all various animals along the River bank, different birds in the trees, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, hippos etc. You will cruise for over 2hours until you reach the beautiful scenery of the mighty water falls, you can hike to the top and then return to the boat to cruise back for an overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Departure/Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe

After your breakfast at your lodge; you will drive for another morning Game drive on your way back to Kampala. This is normally a great time as you look out for some various animal species you may have missed though to most tourists this can be a bonus drive to say bye to the wild. You find them enjoying in their grasslands feeding hopefully when you return you are able to. Find them. You will obviously leave the park and again drive through Masindi town where we shall have our lunch from before continuing with the journey to Kampala/Entebbe in the evening.
